🎯 The Role: Group HR Director
This is a senior executive position, reporting directly to the Group Managing Director and serving as a key member of the leadership team. You will be responsible for designing and driving the Group’s human capital strategy, building scalable HR frameworks, and fostering a high-performance, values-led culture.
🧭 Key Responsibilities
✅ Lead the development and implementation of a Group-wide HR strategy
✅ Oversee talent acquisition, succession planning, and leadership development
✅ Design and manage performance appraisal frameworks, one-on-one reviews, and development plans
✅ Drive employee engagement through townhalls, surveys, and structured communication
✅ Develop and manage compensation, benefits, and rewards structures across all business units
✅ Lead change management, cultural transformation, and organizational development
✅ Standardize HR policies, processes, and systems across the Group
✅ Act as a strategic HR advisor to the Group MD and executive leadership
👤 Ideal Candidate
✔ 12+ years of HR leadership experience, with at least 7 years in a senior/group-level role
✔ Background in maritime, logistics, transport, or large industrial sectors preferred
✔ Proven success in HR transformation, cultural change, and executive advisory roles
✔ Strategic mindset, strong business acumen, and a passion for people
✔ Experience working across multi-company, multi-location environments
✔ Holds a Bachelor's degree (Master’s or MBA preferred) and relevant HR certifications
